A recent report by the research firm cited such examples as telecom firms looking at more energy efficient and recyclable products as consumers check labels for environmental credentials and companies try to save on energy costs. “Over time, green product packaging will not be just a marketing differentiator,” says Greg Unsworth of PricewaterhouseCoopers Asia, “It will be an imperative because consumers will expect green products, otherwise they won’t buy them.”
